    need ideas
I will be buying a baby savannah monitor in about 2 weeks ( thats when the breeder will be able to ship due to the holiday and weather). Any way I'm getting an early start on building a cage and was wanting some ideas. Pic would be a big plus. I've already drawn up some of my ideas but I like a lot of options. Any and all ideas are appreacited.

Read this and buy The Savannah Book by Bennett and read it

It will be better than any advice you get over the net.

Sadly most savannah monitors die due to improper care provided by keepers.....please make sure you can provide for one properly before your purchase.

I've been researching all I can for about 9 months before I came to the decision to get one. Thank you for the concern and the recomendation. Sadly while researching I have come across more stories than I care to hear about abandoned and dead monitors because of owner neglect. Any animal that I might be intrested in as a pet I'll read any thing I can get my hands on thats about the animal, to make sure that its some thing I really want and I can care for fully. Unfortionatly there are alot of people who don't see it that way and most poor animals are victoms of impulse buys. Sorry about the rant (and the bad spelling) it just really really pisses me off when animals suffer as you said because of improper care because some one woun't take the time to learn all they can about a life that they are bringing into there home. Again thank you soooooooo much for having the animal's best intrest in mind and for the book recemdation (I will defently check it out!). That's why I love this site.
