    if i did away with my lamps and switched over to flexwatt. would i just put the flexwatt on the underneath side of the cage?? and how much would i need for a 4x2x18" and then 4x2x1 3 of them

    Yes, you put in underneath each cage. I attach it to the cage using foil tape. The flexwatt comes in one foot increments. I suggest using 11" x 24” tape for each cage. Flexwatt can get extremely hot, so make sure that you have a good digital thermostat to control the heat. The nice thing about flexwatt is that as long as you use the same exact size, length, and wattage, you can plug all of them into one thermostat.

    maybe on this cage i mighe tinker around with flexwatt but the next one the big one ill diff have flexwatt
