keeping alpaca and miniture horses together?
Im thinking about getting a miniture horse and keeping it with an alpaca I was told they get along bt Im wondering how I would feed them... they both eat hay but can they both eat the same grain? if not what would I do and how much do I feed them?

I looked it up, and it appears that they eat different grains... I'm not sure though. I Don't think it would be too much hassle to just feed them their grains separately.

Would you not be stabling them to eat? I have always stabled my horses when eating grain. I would think you could find something they both could eat. I can't think of anything, I only know about horses, sorry. Good luck :D

You would have to separate everyone even if they did eat the same food. One is going to be herd leader, gobble his and then steal the others food.
