I like this guy, but the person that has him is not sure if he is a BCI. What do you think?

randy posted a sticky to clear this up in the boa forum...according to that, I would say BCI. hope that helps...check out the sticky, though, there is some great info!! http://www.ball-pythons.net/PNphpBB2...ic-t-1896.html

Yeah- read it already.. but it really is not as clear as I would like... I have seen BCC that look like BCI also, whats got me about this one, is his sides.. the pattern seems a bit "washed" out, and I have seen that on BCC... maybe I will just stay away from this one...

read in a book purchased at the pet store that they tend to darken when they get older...not sure, though. Ozzie is faded on the sides a bit. he is very friendly!! if you get in front of his hide, he comes out to visit. good luck on your decision, sorry i wasn't much help. maybe when randy or the other bci owners are on, they can answer better!!

    Still No Poop!
jeanne, if someone is selling you a bcc, they are most likely going to know that. look at a photo of a baby bci and bcc, the differences are pretty clear imo.

Jeanne, that guy has an extremely high saddle count. I stopped counting at 26, and I just starting to get to the tail area. Other indicators are the color of the tail, and the oval shape of the light areas between the saddles. It appears to be darker than the red of BCC's, although he is in shed, so that may not be accurate. Certainly I'm no expert, but IMO, BCI.
