For those who live in South Florida, the Miami Science Museum will host an annual celebration of our cold-blooded friends! On Sunday, August 12, the Museum invites guests to bring their snakes and talk to experts on care and feeding.

Prizes will be awarded in the Snake Showcase for categories such as Largest Snake, Best of Show, Most Unusual, People’s Pick and Junior Herpetologist. Other activities include Arts & Crafts and presentations by the Miami Dade Anti-Venom Team.

Free admission for two with snake to the Planetarium and Wildlife Center, plus discounted admission to The Dinosaurs of China Exhibition at $8.00 for non-members, $6.00 for Museum members.

    Registration from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m.

*NO venomous snakes will be allowed under any circumstances.
*All snakes must be in cages/containers; endangered or protected species must be accompanied by permit.
