How to setup a nice Vendor Table Without Shelling Out Alot Of Money?
Hi, I am looking to become a vendor at a reptile expo in the near future and i wanted to know if there is a way to display my animals nicely, without spending tons of money. I am not going to be selling a lot of animals and i am only looking to sell ball pythons and maybe leopard geckos. I dont want to spend a fortune on one of those fancy acrylic display cases.

Deli cups are the only other way to go.

    Remember this, however...

The way you portray yourself to the public by means of your table is the first impression most of your customers will have.

Some don't mind cups, some may be put off by it.

    Just keep that in mind.

While probably not a deserved impression - but an impression nonetheless.

A table filled with deli cups and not nice displays are tables that I tend to pass right on by. I figure that if a vendor views their product as product that can be stacked in deli cups on their table and not set up nicely, then they probably aren't someone who I'd want to do business with.

Now, there are some nice displays that you can put different deli cups into that make really nice displays on the table - and that shows more effort to me - and it's a manner of the vendor showcasing their animals.

I DITTO both previous comments. Your table is a first window into how you view your business and your animals. Cheap says "may be" low quality and poor husbandry in the animals. Nice says "I care about what I do". By the way nice does not have to be expensive. Deli-cups on a nice display with a table cloth and some cheap lights from Wal-mart with a well dressed person behind the table can say just as much as a 1,200.00 display set-up. It isn't what you spent that matters it is how it looks when you are done.
For an idea to create the riser look, take two different size boxes draped in black cloth to put your deli cups on. it is just as good looking as a 260.00 roady case.

I think deli cups would work if set up as a display. But, you'll have to setup like the others said. Use something as a riser/step effect.

Go to some expos/shows and look at everyone's displays. They aren't all acrylic high dollar, but can be effective. IMO

We trading a pair of spider hatchlings for our Acrylic tower display. And my BF built our other display which cost about $60 with the glass. I do intend to purchase a nice Acrylic display though I just would rather spend the money on balls and be nice, well mannered and knowledgeable at shows. Here is a pic of our table at the last show.
