Edmonton Reptiles & Amphibian Society - Fall Expo 2012

It's that time! Time to start getting the word out there....

In just over a month from now, the Edmonton Reptile & Amphibian Society is happy to host our annual Fall Reptile Expo. It will be held on the weekend of September 29th & 30th at the Sands Hotels in Edmonton.

Visitors are welcome to join us at this location for a unique exotic experience. Whether you’re a long-time reptile-lover or just getting to know this unique hobby, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Numerous types of animals will be available at the vendors’ tables. Not to forget the various supplies, feeders and enclosure specialists that will be in attendance as well. So if you’re in the market for a new pet, information, supplies or just to get familiar with our local breeders, you’re encouraged to come down and see us. It promises to be a spectacular show!

As people get involved in this hobby, we like to promote and encourage a positive learning experience for anyone who is curious. As such, some tables will be for display animals with the purpose of answering any questions and possibly getting some one-on-one interaction with this amazing critters. There will also be information about non-profit groups that will be joining us with their booths too! Come learn about the animals that we rescue and re-home, their stories and possibly get to meet a few.

Doors will be open:
10am – 5pm on September 29th
11am – 4pm on September 30th

Admission:
Adults - $6
Teens - $5
Children - $4 (10 & under. Children under 3 are free)
ERAS Members – Free

Parking is free at the Sands Hotel.

Winnipeg's is a couple weeks away too. Smaller venue, but still nice to scope out what's there. Good thing I'll be going back to work in 29 days lol.

Just a quick reminder for any Albertans hanging around. The show is coming up right away! Just over a week, in fact. Be sure to pencil it in on your calendar and come stop by. I promise it'll be an awesome show. We booked up solid with 50 vendors in a very very short amount of time. So quick! So it promsies to be an exciting two days :banana:

Fantastic. It should be good. Definitely come by early, as the lineup tends to start bright and early, haha. And try not to get caught in the gravitational pull that is Kelley's (Ecothermic Reptiles) table. Your wallet will somehow fall out, empty it's contents into his outstretched hands and you'll end up walking away with a brand new gecko asking yourself: "Well gosh, how did that happen?" :weirdface

I can't make it this year but a friend will be going and hopefully bringing me home a new baby :)

Sorry to hear you're missing it. If it's any consolation, I'm trying to raise awareness of the show and I can't make it either! Inventory at work that weekend. Yuck.
