    What do you do during a power outage?
    I live in Southern IL (outside of St. Louis) and we're already getting some decent bouts of winter weather. In the past, we've had power outages during severe winter storms. What are your recommendations for keeping our BPs safe and warm in the event of a power outage?

    Hand warmers on the outside of the enclosure? Also most houses up here have fire places or gas heat as backup. Does your house? Kerosene heaters are also a thing. Just allow your house to ventilate.

    Buddy heater, fireplace and generator keeps everything and everyone warm.

    I don't have a fireplace, but I have been eyeballing those infrared fireplaces! They're not terribly expensive and would definitely generate sufficient heat.
