    Misclassified? Help!?
My significant other and I recently bought a male ball python from a pet shop. They told us one kind of morph the first time we came in as some kind of Banana Ghost with a third gene they had not identified yet. The next time they told us Pastel Enchi Ghost, but when I was looking at morphs online I came across a Calico-Caramel Albino-Desert Ghost-Pastel. We were hoping for some help narrowing it down or confirming what he is and maybe getting some name ideas in the process.

I don’t really see the spider or mojave. Looks like super pastel ghost/hypo or something similar to me.

    +1 For Mojave Bee

Pastel - Yellow color - Not Super Pastel - Head is too dark
Mojave - The single spot pattern along the sides
Spider - The broken dorsal stripe down the back.

Exactly what I saw. Definitely not super pastel

It doesn’t have the spider headstamp though. Personally I have a mojave bumblebee and have seen several and they don’t look quite like that. See headstamp on mine. https://ball-pythons.net/forums/cach...om/xkWOqpC.jpg

I think Spider would be obvious with a wobble or stargazing in most cases.

He has been handled and shows no signs of wobble, stargazing, or coordination issues. He climbs a lot in his cage with no trouble. We have not fed him yet so we will have to see if anything manifests then.

lots of morph combos start to look the same, especially with more genes in the mix, that it can be really hard to tell sometimes. The only way to know is to find out what the parents were or through breeding trials.
I am not seeing calico, banana, enchi or caramel in there, looks more like a ghost/hypo, pastel with something else but who knows.
    Pretty snake though!

It's definitely got mojave in there, but beyond that, there are dozens of possibilities. It looks very similar to my blackbee mojave orange ghost as far as the pattern goes, so I'm willing to bet there is spider in there though.
