Where to herp watch in st catharines, Hamilton area?
Just wondering where you guys go in southern ON to find cool herps?
Re: Where to herp watch in st catharines, Hamilton area?
Sadly, in Ontario there is very little herping to be had... Ontario only has 32 species of reptile, and basically half of those reptiles are listed as threatened or endangered in Ontario. Garter snakes are moderately common depending on where you look, there are woods all around where I live and I see Garters around sometimes.

I don't know about you, but I see posts from people living in the southern US and get all kinds of jealous about the kinds of animals they find locally!
