    Snake reccomendations?
So Ive been around a lot of snakes but Im mostly just familiar with ball pythons, which i love.
But, I would love to get a snake that gets a little bigger as well.
What would you guys reccomend? Maybe between 5 and 8 ft, and docile? I like to have my snakes out a lot.
So what would be a good breed that is kinda big and generally not too aggressive?

I'm a big fan of carpet pythons. The Coastal and Bredli carpets get to a pretty good size. Bull snakes are pretty impressive critters too.

Carpets seem really cool. Are they pretty laid back?

I thought they got way big for some reason. But they're beautiful. I just want one that isnt too big for one, relatively not strong person to handle haha

Pretty bitty when young and if you do not work with them constantly they will not be that laid back.

Yep heavy body, not very long, not very forgiven when it comes to husbandry, not a beginner snake, need to be worked with on regular basis, need to be bought from a breeder that has spent the time (not some cheap import) or you are setting yourself for a disaster.

They are a very rewarding species but need to be work with like many python species except for BP.

When choosing a species it's not about what other like or recommend it's about researching all said species, yes YOU need to do the homework and than decide what species is best suited for YOU whether it comes to husbandry or disposition.
