    New setup hefty 40qt
My boy went off food so I decided to upgrade him since it was overdue. Unfortunately no glass tanks available due to covid so ended up piecing together this quick setup until prices relax a bit.

    600g male
    Hefty 40qt
    Zilla jungle mix
    Med. RBI hide

Its so bare, I would like to fill in more space maybe a place he can soak and some filler to make him more secure. Also medium hide is barely large enough but they were out of large hides. He did go right back on food after the upgrade so I'm on the right track. Any help and opinions appreciated. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...4a22040df6.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...c8b4e75da8.jpg

Congrats on getting him to eat again! I would definitely get some clutter in there asap (leaves/vines/etc). I wouldn't worry about the hide being too small if he can fit inside it, they like a tight squeeze!

Get some logs/wood that can be maybe draped between the hides? Mine loves to climb her little branches and it will help them feel safe too.

Just MHO but I prefer tub setups like that over glass tanks. They are a lot less expensive and it's easier to maintain humidity in them.
