    Mites
I was wondering if anyone could direct me to a post or link that describes how to prevent and kill these little buggers. I used the search engine and went through a few pages without find something. I figured there would be a sticky on this matter...

Pick up a can of Black Knight or Provent a Mite and follow the directions on either product.

I'm battling my first case of mites (still not sure where they came from), and just ordered a can of Provent-A-Mite... in the meantime I soaked the affected snakes in water w/ a drop of dish soap, and also rubbed them down with Natural Chemistry's Reptile Relief - both were fairly effective in removing the mites from their bodies. Also clean every tub thoroughly, and some people suggest using PAM (Provent-A-Mite) treated bedding for at least 30-45 days. Supposedly does a great job of keeping the buggers away!

Good luck to both of us... mites really suck.
