New guy

Hi all! I wasn't sure what to call this thread lol, just wanted to share that Im going to be picking this little guy up in a couple weeks! He's an albino het blizzard sonoran gopher (like it says in the picture lol) and I'm getting him from Rick krumrine. I'm going to pick him up as soon as I can get his enclosure ready, I'm so excited!! I'm already In love with him

From what I've heard they sound amazing and I'm so excited to have one of my own, I've never really been around any pituophis in real life so this will be a new experience for me!

So I finally went and picked him up on Monday! I let him settle for two days and fed him tonight, he ate with absolutely no problem! Kinda made me groan thinking about feeding my bp later once his rat thaws out because u just know he's gonna be difficult lol. But that aside I'm super excited! I'm kind of obsessed with him, I've been leaving him alone as much as I can and I'm not going to handle him for a while since he's still settling in but it's sooo hard lol, he's totally adorable, I really can't get over it!! Lol. I'll keep posting updates on him here or maybe I'll start another thread, but either way I think I'll end up posting about him a lot, I just love him!
And a side note, I got him from Rick krumrine and he was so nice and helpful! Congrats on the new addition Ditto. He looks GREAT! Pits are awesome snakes to keep. They're pretty easy to care for and typically don't play around with their food. I hope you really enjoy your new critter.

Stunning !!

He deserves to be kept on dark coloured substrate like orchid bark or repti bark :)

Look at the difference the substrate makes !!

Beautiful snake! Most colubrids are awesome to keep & gophers are very high on the list- always fun to feed, definitely not the "drama" you're used to with a BP, lol.
