    Copyright is such a complex convoluted issue that if you believe it can summed up in a few hundred words you are taking a very simplistic view of the issue. Every country has their own laws and every image could be marked with its own notice.
    mine for example is...

    'May not be modified, resold, syndicated, and/or published or republished in print or any electronic media known or unknown without written permission of the creator.'

    Look at these images. This is copyright infringement it is not even the same images at all.

    Crazy yes but if you think that this is infringement, re-publishing an image with out permission for any use absolutely is unless it is stated very clearly that you may do so under a CC agreement.
