    New to Pythons
Well I took the info I got here and went yesterday and got a tropicaire for my Ozzy.
I think I need a bigger pump got one rated for a 30 gal Ozzy is in a 20gal
with the infrared light on for heat the humidity. stays around 55% over on the hot side to around 62% on the cool side by his water bowl
I have 3/4 of the screen lid in duct tape the other 1/4 is where the light is which I have cut out tin foil about 1" larger than light to allow for heat / air escape.
He has suddenly become very active now that I got the humidity up.
It was only around 25-30% before the duct tape and now the tropic aire has really helped.
My question is how much is to much humidity???
I know to high can cause a R/Infection.
temps in tank stay at around 90-92 on warm side to around 77-82 on cool side.
I plan on feeding him his first adult mouse tomorrow, hope it goes well
    they seem big :?
thanks for all your help, this site is a Godsend.

What the h. e. double toothpicks happend?
ive noticed high humidity and good air circulation seem to be fine, but high humidity and stagnant air invites trouble really fast. Its tough to get the balance sometimes though of high humidity and air movement.
Sounds like Ozzy is warm enough to keep his immune system working well.
I think if there is no water condensation on the walls, and the floor isnt getting water build up its probably not too big a deal.
Cold and wet seems to be the recipe for disaster.

Your humidity is perfect. And in the event you get a case of RI, I just finishes writing a medical article on it!

I agree. Your temps and humidity sound great!

I think your temps and humidity sound great. And if you want to get it higher while in shed just start misting once or twice a day - but you probably won't need to.

    Good luck!
