x2 on Benchmade being the highest quality knife I've owned and I've owned all of the main brands.

Buck is higher quality for a fixed blade knife, but I do not like their folding blades.

As a Swiss, it's really nice to see so many Victorinox fans ;)

Here's one of them that I own and would recommend. But since the quality of Victorinox is always high and the blades sharp, I'd recommend anyone.

Hehe, I have actually used the reamer on mine to put holes in tubs. Couldn't find Hubby's solder iron. :D

I've been trying to find a good source for my local knife laws forever... I have a TON of knives and I'm not too fond of getting in trouble.

So far this is all I've found (this is the short version lol) Any size folding knife is legal for open or concealed carry as long as it has a tendency to stay closed and any sized fixed blade is legal as long as its open carry but i try to keep my working knife around 3 inches to not have trouble but I bust out a nice big kukri when hiking or camping =P

CT laws are more cut and dry.

Nothing over 4inches, no assisted opening, and no double edged.

Those are the only 3 requirements i believe. The knife i carry in my truck is a regular kershaw folder with like a 3" blade. Falls within those 3 catergories^ so i believe im fine. But I still keep it in the center console bc it would definetly be probable cause to search.

I was think about doing that too but they are both have a year to go before they would be able to (legally) use the flasks haha they are like three and a half year younger than me lol

I wish it was like that here... We have some weird dirks and daggers thing that makes it even more confusing. I think they classify anything that's ready to go dirks and daggers so a folder of any size that's open in your pocket would be illegal as well.

I'd like to think that anything that's sold in the state or city would be legal but after what Kevin from nerd posted on his facebook about his friend that got raided and had his animals confiscated I guess that isn't always the case...
