    Thanks MarkieJ!! When it comes to pieds I am also a fan of the 50/50 look, I picked her because of the zig-zag look she has going for her. I am very happy with her and she is pounding rat pups... and my hands (she's pretty nippy) lol.

    Man, i wish i could get a piebald, im getting my first pet snake next month, any tips would really be appreciated, except i have to get a normal. :(

    Hey Jason, you'll get there.

    Some advice when purchasing your first ball python - Buy a female; This way if at one-point you do decide that you would like to be a hobby breeder you will have a good size female that you can pair with a male. Make sure that you really read up on your husbandry! Good husbandry and providing your snake with the essentials is the key to a happy and healthy snake. There is nothing wrong with a Normal. Each Normal is unique and you would be surprised at how special some of these Normals can be, just buy what you love. Another good starter python would be a Pastel, you can find them for a very good price and they are a key ingredient in many outstanding morphs.

    Last, no matter what you are buying; Get something from a reputable breeder or facility. This forum will be a very helpful tool to you now and once you get your first snake... Welcome!
