Finally got my talons on a Wacom...

AS I was trying to think of stuff I had sitting around that I could scan in I realized my Umax is kaput - and it reminded me that I forgot to ask you:

Do you create raw right on the PC/pad - or do you scan in line art first?

Oh, no no no, I did not draw all those pieces with a mouse! :O I do a pencil drawing, Karen inks it, and then I scan it in and color it. Here's a good example of the process in a bit of ElfQuest Fanart we did. :)

If you told me you drew that with a mouse I'd commit seppuku with a stylus!

I've got a wacom.. but my brain doesn't 'get it' yet. I keep wanting to look at my hand. lol

You'll get the hang of it Shelby, I don't think I'd have gotten it so fast if I hadn't been coloring stuff with a mouse for years.

Some of A's artwork would be FANTASMIC tattoos!!!! Think I could talk to her about using one? ;)

Oh, der! lol! I'm sure she'd be flattered! :) You should have seen me when I saw Ken's tattoo of the logo I made for him! Imitation smimitation, tattooing is the highest form of flattery to an artist imho ;)

Super awesome! I will readily admit, coloring anything in w/ a mouse is just torturous.
