I've yet to be tagged, but I'm sure it's coming...

    Nice bite.

I was just thinking the same thing, a perfect little outline!

People say it doesn't hurt. Those people are just trying to be tough guys. I could cut my finger off and say it doesn't hurt if I wanted to.

In reality, pain can be measured by the amount of response your nerves give to your brain, which is a lot less subjective than 'don't be a pansy, it doesn't hurt.'

I've experienced a wide range of physical pain in my life and I'm not a pansy, but being bit by a 150g BP hurt. Now when I was younger I got a good bite from a hamster, rat, cat... those hurt a LOT more.

    MrLang where were you bit?

I was tagged by a 1000g-ish ball on my forearm and i barely noticed he had tagged me. I was reaching into the tank and looked away to grab something and felt him twitch and i thought he had just pulled his head back or flicked his body. I obviously noticed the blood spots and figured it out but it did not hurt at all. Now if he had tagged me in the face or somewhere in my fingers that probably would have hurt.

Coolest bite wound I've gotten was from my blood python, spanned across a few fingers, so when I positioned them just like I had them for the bite, you could see the outline :D

I think the number of puncture marks you can see are a good indicator of just how serious the snake was about inflicting a bite versus just striking.

Nice little teeth marks. Your snake is marking you, 'Everyone stay back! This is my keeper!'

To me, a BP bite is less painful than a papercut. And I've been tagged a few times.

    Thanks guys! :)
I thought it was awesome how she left the outline. I ran down all excited to show my boyfriend the bite mark haha.
I agree that paper cuts hurt way more than snake bites. I've been bit by a couple of my balls and my boa, and paper cuts are definitely more painful. and puppy bites. and cat clawing. Snakes are all bark and no bite ;)

    PAPERCUTS ARE TERRIBLE!

Yeah, it was on the soft part of my palm and on my thumb. If they really get a hold of you I suspect it hurts more than just a nose bump.

It wasn't excruciating, I just think it's silly how hard people downplay it.

"Just drop a hammer on your big toe, it's fine dude, really."
BTW it hurts significantly less than a hammer to the toe, just saying...

I don't know why "papercut" is used as a standard to typically say something doesn't hurt terribly much.. to me it's kinda like saying "it hurts less than being shot"

    :P

curse you, papercuts, and curse your terrible cousin "the cardboard cut".
