Pied deal not working out

You bet! We sell frozen feeders all the time on CL. Actually, that is how I met my fishing/herping/spider buddy. He buys rats from us.

I am about to get into breeding feeder rats, I was looking at the money I can make on CL and not just for selling the rats as feeders but those who want pets as well. So I am trying to get my parents to let me do this since I can't work right now and I am having to live with them. I already have the Local pet store here in La Porte offering to buy frozen rats off of me.

I agree. My guess is the guy either told you the wrong price and doesn't want to admit it, or something else fishy, like trying to get money out of you.

If you want the pied that bad, why don't you contact the guy that actually owns the pied.

What does an adult female pied go for? 2K? 3? I wouldn't touch that deal no matter what they claim the circumstances are. People just don't pass on that kind of money for no reason.

And even if you aren't that cautious I would advise not dealing with those guys anyway. Wishy washy people like that are annoying and need to be ignored.

I am a right here right now type of guy. I dont BS anyone and I dont put up with it either.
You really dont have any losses here so it a no harm no foul on your part either way. If he doesnt contact you back just let it wash out and screw him;)

Definitely have to agree with what most are saying, something is fishy with the deal. As for the other part, I would totally cut crazy good deals for friends. I have no problems with that at all. Sure I can get more from someone else, but saving a friend some money is what a good friend does. Besides there will be a time when that friend is going to return that favor to you. :cool:

so i texted him today-saying that ive been trying for a month to meet up with him and that i have frozen rats for this deal that i woulda sold as live b/c of the deal.. He apologized and told me to come to his apt tomorrow at 730....So cross your fingers guys :D

when meeting someone that you dont know always take a buddy with you, usually a bigger buddy. or in my case i always go armed, always.
