What's next, a Donte Stallworth beer koozie? If you own a dog and a twisted sense of humor, the NFL is ready and willing to help turn your four-legged friend into a Michael Vick fan for the small fee of $39.99 plus tax and shipping. That's the price you'll pay for the "custom pet jersey" selling on the NFL's Web site at NFLshop.com, where a Daily News reporter placed an order Wednesday for a Philadelphia Eagles dog jersey, size large, with the No. 7 and the name "VICK" on the back.

Since he signed on with the Eagles, merchandise sales have went up 30%. And ticket sales have went up 80%. The Dec 6 game against the Falcons is already sold out.

I have to say I have looked down on the NFL for a long time now. I really think the NFL needs to run a tighter ship, being that a player gets busted for example, drugs ,DUI whatever the case may be, he might get a slap on the wrist and a little suspension, maaybe a little jail time and then right back to making hordes of money...The reprocusions typically seem very minor if in fact there are reprocusions. That is simply something I cant respect. In my opinion if any pro sports or college sports is convicted of a crime, They should be banned from the NFL period and let them work for a living like most people... I also find it sad that in our society alot of kids look up to these types of "stars".

to play in the NFL, NHL,NBA,MLB is a priveledge when you fight dogs (murder dogs), shoot yourself, kill people with your car, do drugs you are done. Yes you deserve a second chance if you do your time but not in a professional sport. Im not going to stop watching my Eagles because of it but society today is all about money money money so if it makes a buck we will sign em.

It's just sad because if any one of us normal joes did either of what they did, we would be looking at a ton of time, life(for what stallworth).
