Thanks a lot Jones-Drew. Jacksonville Jaguars
Thanks a lot Jones-Drew :( Went to yesterday mornings practice. It was the last practice open to the public. When I got to the practice I realized I had for gotten something. I rushed all the way back home and Brought back my coveted authentic Jones Drew jersey back for an autograph....

Well after sitting in sun for 2 1/2 hours, practice finally ends and I run over to the gate where they give autographs. As they left the field every player was eager to sign away as they should... It was after all an advertised "last open practice, autographs after the practice"

Well I wait and wait holding my coveted jersey folded up just right with a book backing to create the perfect surface for signing. Most of the team left and then there he was! The bowling ball!! Kids and dads alike start calling his name. Then it happens. ... Read More

    He says "NO AUTOGRAPHS"

Are you serious? Yes he was. He strolled in without a single autograph signed. Thanks a lot &$$@*^!%!!!

That blows man. It's interesting too. I read this article about how the Jags are struggling to hold a steady fan base. Perhaps if players such as Mo-jo would be loyal to the fans, the team would get some in return. :)

The combination of a bad economy and a traditionally lukewarm fan base is causing plenty of heartburn for the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Recently, the franchise has sent an e-mail to former customers, asking them to consider supporting the team again. The e-mail carries the headline, "We miss you and want you back!"

Well, I would never return to a practice, or anything after that. Sadly i'm in Louisiana and I don't like the Saints, so I can't get any autograph, well I don't really want any autograph.

Too bad the Bills aren't in La.

It really does blow. I am always talking smack about how fun he is to watch play. However this seriously puts a damper on my feelings towards him.

I am the last person in the world that would ever approach him in the grocery store, or anywhere else I might run into him, because I respect his personal time. I certainly wouldn't want people trying to get me to do my job on my day off.... but that wasn't the case here. He was at WORK! Not to mention that I am one of the ones paying his salary!

If I was rich from playing football, and I saw that a normal Joe spent a lot of hard earned money on MY authentic jersey.... and he wanted me to sign it, I could never in a million years say no. This would be true anywhere I was.... not to mention an official advertised team autograph session.

    Lucky.

I am going to the preseason game against the Vikes next Friday. Then I am driving down for the home opener against Oakland. Should be pretty wild.

Flights are cheap these days, well from KC anyways. Parents just flew down this past weekend and are again in Sept and Nov. Roundtrip on Airtran direct to Orlando for less than $200
