Just saw the Chiefs picked up Zach Thomas. 1 year $2 million. Thoughts on our linebackers for 2009?

I think he will be a nice addition to Derrick Johnson and Mike Vrabel, and with a 1yr year contract it gives him a chance to show us if he still has it.
I like all the action KC has been involved in the offseason.

We also cut Will Franklin, and it sounds like TG is going to the Falcons in a trade.

Yeah, I heard the Falcons offered a 2nd round (55th overall) pick but that the Chiefs turned it down. Then I hear he is clearing out his locker and there is a 80% - 85% chance he is traded. If he goes, it will be a sad day for us Chiefs fans. Almost like when we lost Derrick Thomas. I will still support him and hope he can get what he deserves.

Ya...it will be sad to see him leave. But he has been loyal to the Chiefs and the falcons are closer to winning a SB then the Chiefs. He will go into the HOF as a Chief, no doubt about it.

Looks like they're trying to get some leadership on that team. Can't beat 1yr 2million. If I'm not mistaken, there's a few high draft picks on that defense that have not lived up to their billing - Dorsey so far, Johnson, McBride, Hali....everybody..ha!
