Titans gonna get holt??

please!!! this would be amazing. even though hes a lil on the old side, they would be great next year with him washington and gage, algea crumpler tight end and smash and dash, still with what i see will be the best d in the nfl, good writtens haynesworthless

Hmmmmmm I havent heard much. I know that he was meeting with the Titans on the 2nd of April, but I havent heard how the meeting went.

I hope you guys get him! He is a good guy, good player, and deserves to be on a team. :salute:

jus read on yahoo they just finished their meeting, his agent says he was very impressed with the titan organization. sorry jaguars....

The Jacksonville Jaguars are nearing a deal for free-agent wide receiver Torry Holt, but it has not yet been finalized, sources tell ESPN's Chris Mortensen.

Holt was released by the St. Louis Rams on March 13 shortly before he was due a $1.25 million roster bonus on March 17.

Holt, a seven-time Pro Bowl selection, ranks 11th on the league's all-time reception list with 869 catches.

The 10-year veteran caught just 64 passes last year for 796 yards and three touchdowns, the fewest scoring catches of his career. His total receptions and total yards were the second-lowest of his career, ahead of only his rookie season of 1999.

The Jaguars are in need of a veteran receiver. The team released troubled receiver Matt Jones last month after he violated a plea agreement from an earlier drug charge. They also released Jerry Porter and didn't re-sign free agent Reggie Williams.

Yep we got Holt. Not sure if he's gonna do anything with Gerard. But, at least he can help the young'uns get more seasoned...

Watching the draft pick now - no Stafford, no Curry... dunno who we're gonna get.

Holt's a good WR. He has experience and he has good hands. His speed isn't what it was, but exp makes up for that.

Titan's don't have the best D either. Steeler's D is better.
