    Chiefs land Vrabel and Cassel
Well I am pretty pumped. We just landed Vrabel and Cassel for our 2nd round pick. Pretty impressive I think, we managed to keep our 1st round pick.

Now I hope we get Curry and Vrabel can mold him into a stud.

This is great news and I have no idea how we pulled this deal out, espically since New England placed Cassel as franchise player and originally wanted 2 first round picks.

Great thing for KC that Pioli and Belichick are such good buddies. Great pickup. 2nd rounder for a QB who threw for 3600+/20+TD. He can play if he's got players around him - just like any other decent QB.

Vrabel's been around a long time, he's at that point in a veterans career where he could easily get cut in training camp. I'd think the best you could hope out of him is to make the team and become the leadership presence for the defense and not really expect a whole lot more outa him on the field.

me being a pats fan i would have liked to keep Vrabel, as for Cassel....well he proved himself but we have a way with QB's up here, we could mold a highschool backup into a starter for us! :D Hopefully Cassel will do good though I liked him he stepped up big.
