Trying to register a business in mass

So. I'm trying to register my business in mass. I'd like to be a small scale breeder. I've been doing a lot of reading and so far all I see is to register as a pet shop or register as a transient vendor which is what I assume I have to do to vend at shows I'm guessing. Could someone please help me I'm very confused about what I have to do and the mass website is of no help

You don't have to do anything unless you're making over 5 grand a year. Are you doing that?

Also, Class D... hehe

I also plan on doing some wholesale animals and everyone wants tax id/business license to even talk to me.
