    LT Released by Chargers

    Pretty self explainatory.

Being a football fan, I'm pretty bummed to see a stand-up guy like LT not be able to finish his career in the place where he's done so much work.

Being a Charger fan, in a weird way I'm glad to see him go. His numbers were WAY down, injured all the time, his playoff performances these past few years have left quite a bit to be desired, and his unwillingness to take a back-up roll might create some new opportunities for the team.

    I'm torn...too soon.
:tears: :( <--- my wife and I as emoticons...so sad.

    What do you guys/gals think?

Hopefully it all works out for him, his wife is now pregnant and has to start over in a new city. I believe he'll land on his feet and be a nice #2 or a nice set up back in a 2 back system. Indy or ATL?

Add Brian Westbrook AND Jamaal Lewis to that list.

3 of the top 5 rushers since 2003 are without a team...

running backs.. they just don't make 'em like they used to.

seems like these guys are amazing in their early to mid 20's and then then they are done when they get about 30 years old.

.... even the mona lisa's falling apart i guess.
