    Petition to ban Larry Johnson
    For anyone who cares...

Larry Johnson, the RB for the Kansas City Chiefs, is about 80 yards away from becoming the Chiefs all-time leading rusher. For many Chiefs fans, this is a bad thing. The current record belongs to Priest Holmes, a quiet individual who contributed on and off the field. A good role model for kids. If you know anything about Larry Johnson, you know he is the opposite. He has had multiple off field issues and tends to care more about himself. Recently he made some derogative remarks towards some media and fans...also called out the head coach of the Chiefs, this has earned him a 2 weeks suspension.

I am a huge Chiefs fan...I got married at Arrowhead Stadium. Larry Johnson is not the image Chiefs fans want to have associated with the organization...let alone hold a franchise record that once belonged to Marcus Allen and now Priest Holmes.

If you follow sports you may have heard of a petition going around asking management to keep Larry Johnson off the field prohibiting him from breaking the record.

If you are curious...here is the petition.

    That's all.

Although I didn't sign it as I'm not a Chiefs fan, I wholeheartedly agree with your movement. Priest Holmes was an awesome back and it's a shame that Shawne Merriman had to end his career prematurely with a vicious hit. I hope LJ doesn't see the field again as a Chief.

Oh you don't have to be a Chiefs fan to sign it...you can just be a fan of football in general. If you look at the signatures, there are fans from other teams signing it. Thanks for the thoughts tho man...he is a bad apple.

I signed it yesterday at lunch and there were about 1,400 signatures. Apparently a couple hours later the petition was spoken of on ESPN. There are now 9,000+ signatures. Thanks ESPN...for once. :)

I agree completely with the petition. It's a shame that LJ is still a Chief. I signed, and I was number 23,072. Not too shabby. Hopefully Pioli takes it to heart.
