    Emotions are fine for sports. But when someone is absurdly cocky and arrogant to the point of literally creating a character and alter ego for themselves, they better be ready to deal with the repercussions when they don't deliver.

    After watching all the post super bowl coverage I think a major point is being lost in all of this. Players need to remember that they are beholden to us, the fan base. I don't care about a players race, feelings, career stats or who failed whom on the team. Each and every player is obligated to their fan base. And as a fan our only avenue of communication with most players is through the media. The only reason that players can make $17 million a year is because we pay ridiculous ticket prices and buy inordinately priced merchandise.

    I dont one think it's too much to ask for a player to sit in a char and answer direct questions about their performance.
