I have both. .01 Butter and 1.0 fire spider. My spider is funny how he twists his head upside down. Just something you need to accept for what it is. They are special in their own way. Like many on here I couldn't just have one.

    Re: spider or butter??

I vote spider. The wobble is pretty cute and I think spiders age way better than butters. Though, if you look at the adult butter and like the browning / greying that happens, than it's up to you!

I would never get a snake that has neurological issues (wobble) or bug eyes, or duck bill.

I just watched several videos and it made me feel so conflicted. Like, on one hand I want to get one and name it Derp but then part of me is so sad that they are born with this :/ does it decrease their life expectancy?

Keep in mind that the videos you see on Youtube are almost always the most severe wobblers you'll find. I had never seen the wobble until I got my spider, and then I was curious so I looked it up as well. I was shocked by the corkscrewing I saw - Varys does nothing like that!

So that's essentially the worst case scenario, and it doesn't seem to be that common for it to be so severe.

That link describes a number of morph "issues", including bug eyes and duckbill.

    Re: spider or butter??

I would vote on butter/lesser as a single morph but i love spider combos too. My killer spinner has no real wobble. It's hard to only have one I have 8 now and my list of ones to get grows longer all the time.

    1.0 Pastel
    1.0 Killer Spinner
    1.0 Spotnose
    1.0 100% Het Pied
    0.1 Fire
    0.1 Butter
    0.1 Enchi
    0.1 albino
