    Super Mystic Pinstripe

This is my third year trying for this, and I finally got eggs (no eggs in previous years). I was definitely hoping for a bit more pattern, but there is a fair amount of nearly invisible pattern, that I think will darken with a little age. Most of the pattern that can be seen is near the tail. I hope everyone likes this one as much as I. I will definitely get some better pics after shad and a couple meals.

You probably know about this already, but Ralph Davis produced a bunch of them, and they seem to vary quite a bit. I agree, the ones with more pattern are nicer, but hey, it's a genetically powerful combo! Make more .....

Ralph made Super Phantom Pins. I work with both genes, and there actually is a bit of difference between the two. The Super Phantoms are darker than the Super Mystics (as well as the Phantoms being a bit darker than the Mystics). I think they look a bit different because of that fact. I actually have four Super Phantom crosses sitting in eggs right now, and hopefully will be posting those as well soon (they have the possibility of carrying three other genes on top of the Super Phantom). However, thanks for the link, as I didn't know he had made those already. I originally got the idea when I saw Ralph's first Super Phantom Spiders, and wondered what I believe to be the next biggest pattern changer would look like when mixed with the "purple snake" genes (i.e the Mystic as that was the only gene I was working with back in 2010).

I am so envious right now I'm lost. Between the snake picture and the breeders' sites on this thread I am going to explode.

A thread highlighting differences between mystic and phantom (or supers of each) would be great, as many believe they are the same morph. Which looking at individual combos and morphs, I would have to agree at this point. Educate us please
