Yes, I personally find hatchlings are at their best. As this pastel grows it will become more yellow and brown.

That makes it even cooler to see first hand. It's been a great experience .
(... and here I was worrying it would be hard to pick out any Pastels from normals ).

The last one ended up being a Lesser... I'm pretty happy that all 18 eggs (3 clutches) produced healthy snakes... Next year will be much more interesting (but I wouldn't trade this first year breeding or the results for anything... we learned so much) :-) .
