Please put these comments on the forum I posted about ideas for finding your lost snake. What works for others might not work for some. When someone is panicking about their lost snake they don't want to hear what they did wrong, they want to find their snake.

Also, I had a 8 foot red tail that would hide up by the light fixture.

If you want to find the snake you need to first calm down. When you are panicked your mind will deliberately guide your eyes around the snake so you don't find it.

I once got all panicked because I couldn't find an adult TEGU. How hard could it be to find that in the tiny apartment I lived in then? But I couldn't find him because I was so anxious. I was already a full grown adult 30 something but I was so scared I turned the house upside down moved all the furniture away from the walls etc. I even checked outside the house and where I took out the trash and tore the trash bags apart and considered calling the police. Then I called my mom and cried! LOL. I did this for hours, no tegu found. Then I decided to calm down, and within 5 mins, I found her sleeping soundly on the bottom shelf of the shoe cabinet.

Make sure there is no way for the snake to leave the house, better yet the room. Then take a deep breath and go through everything systematically, one end to the other, even the places you don't think likely. If you jump from place to place you will never find him.

Banana Ball Escaped ! Help Me Please!!!!!!!!

My ball python escaped about a week ago and i looked everywhere in the room she was in. Surprisingly, my friend found her in the bathroom (which is very far away from the room) inside the bathtub. I never thought she would be inside the bathtub, so you might want to check other rooms
Good luck in finding her! I know you'll find her somewhere

Don't worry, my BP escaped from his cave for 13 hrs and I looked for him everywhere. Turns out he hid himself behind the desk, a few steps next to his cave.

If I've learned anything in the 15 years of snake owning I have under my belt, snakes are resilient. I'm sure you'll find him. Be happy. He's a banana. He's a bright color. If I lost my normal. Monty, I don't think I'd be able to find her.
