What to pair my female spider with?

Recently picked up a 1500 g spider female but can't decide what to pair her with the two males I have locking with others are a mojave and a ghost. I know the ghost will be a longer project to get the ghost spider.

Is your spider a proven female? If so, when did she lay last and what was she paired to?

Then I would go with the Mojave. Read this article for the logic: http://ballpythonbreeder.com/2012/02...thon-breeders/ (specifically the "Never Breed Recessives a Year After Dominant/Co-Dominants" portion).

If you have any virgin (or visual ghost) females that are ready to go, you could start this season with your Ghost male. If not, it'd be difficult to sell any Normals or Spiders from this pairing as hets with complete certainty. If you keep them for yourself, that's another story (your reputation wouldn't be on the line - only your time if they didn't prove out).

I would sell the offspring at normal and spider pricing and let them know the pairing from season past and this season. Possibly keep one or two offspring.
