So sexy, if I had a snake like that all I would do it take picture of it all day, perfect model.

“The sky’s awake… so I’m awake… so we have to HUNT!!!”

(appropriate Frozen reference, because night has come and the snake has come alive )

Got the wall mounts to finish up her decor! Unfortunately, she's hiding her head in these pictures because I just sprayed her a bit (in case she's not drinking from her bowl).

About the placement of the probe, I've found this to be the best spot during the summer here, because the ambient temp in the room is consistently between 79~82 during both day and night. So if I put the probe on the cool side/somewhere further away and turned down the thermostat accordingly, the heater would never turn on! And if I put it elsewhere and turn up the thermostat, then of course the hot spot would be way too hot for a GTP... With the probe hanging at this location, the heater at least turns on and off throughout the day to create the slight hot spot of 83~85 vs. the 82 ambient of the room. Though I feel like I'm going against the rules, but alas. :I

Yeah! She has blue specks all over, and a blue gradient on her belly, mostly towards her back half.

I'm going to offer food in a few hours, so wish me luck.

    Absolutely gorgeous snake

One day I want to get an ETB, but that is a long way off, both in experience and spousal approval

Just as an aside, if you run into issues getting the probe to stay there, I recall seeing somewhere on here that using some heat shrink tubing works well for stiffening the wire.

    Thanks!
Get the ETB first, and then ask for approval with pleading puppy eyes later. LOL. Also, thanks for the tip! I'll remember if I do... for now, the hole that was carved for the wire is kind of small, so the probe is hard stuck there for now.
