    Piebald for $260?

I was at Petsmart earlier, and they have all of their reptiles marked down for Black Friday (sale ends today). I was surprised to see a Piebald Ball that went from $420 to $260. I've spent all day since then thinking... isn't that way below their normal price? I know Petsmart prices things waaaay high, as do all pet stores seemingly. I thought Piebalds were legitimately super expensive, though. This seemed so jarring that i made an account just to ask about it :-)

If you go to any reptile shows you can get males for 200 pretty easy. I'd imagine they petsmart buys them wholesale for less than 100. Females I'd say you could get one for 300 if you tried and got lucky. Last show I went to a guy had a bunch of pieds but they were all high whites and he was looking for more for them. He told me he already sold off the low whites for a lower price.

Not too many collectors are going to go to a chain store for high end morphs.
They may have had it too long and want to dump it.

The 200 for a male I could Probably get at least half the time, I got my male pied for just over 200 and I didn't even try haggling. I got a 450g pied female a month ago for 350ish (I think $360 was the exact price). Those prices are certainly on the low end and I wouldn't expect them available all the time, but if you look hard enough you can find them. I'm pretty sure I've seen pieds for 200/400 for hatchlings on kingsnake too, I just did a quick skim of the pieds on there and saw one female for 400 shipped.

At Daytona I remember seeing some male piedbalds for as low as $250(but this was sunday, some great deals may have been available saturday). $260 would be a very good price for a pet store. Pet store prices have to be higher.
