    Ok to cool babies?

I know I put this up a while back but didn't get a straight answer. My reason for this question is because I have a large rack that holds my breeders and on a lower shelf my babies. This would only be temporary because I have a new rack setup I just need to get a thermostat sometime in the next 2 weeks. Would it be ok temporarily? I would cool the hotspot down to 82F at night and 87F during the day.

Laziness is nothing more than the habit of resting before you get tired.

I haven't dropped the temps on my snakes for many years and they still breed just fine, but if you want to it shouldn't hurt anything.
