Spent almost a year in and out of a VA Psyche ward. Then did another stretch of time after that. I'm currently enjoying a peaceful period of reality and relative prosperity.

Really? Reality and relative prosperity are certainly always nice. Let's hope it's one of those periods that happen to.. last forever. 😁

I think when you get into the hobby you want to get as much info as possible. Once you start having hundreds of babies you probably spend your time marketing them and taking care of all of your snakes instead of dreaming about it like we are now LOLOL.

So right now is my busiest time stuff is still breeding, stuff is hatching. Which means pictures, records, more rats to produce, more tubs to clean, more facebook and twitter or instagram posts, shows to do. I still enjoy answering questions and helping new people to the hobby but my time is so short..

Life is okay as long as it isn't taking anyone away from their sneks. 🐍

This. I have a husband, a full time management job, I own my own small business, have a house to take care of, as well as all of our snakes and sugar gliders. Back in my earlier years on the forum when I was single with only one job and just snakes for pets, I spent countless hours on here. I also think a lot of "old timers" got out of the hobby...and perhaps it makes them sad to come back and visit?
