Anyone use reptichip or something similar for incubation?

Whatever i use im gonna use a light diffuser on top but curious what different substrates some people use. I think marcus jayne uses reptichip but with no light diffuser.

I used reptilechip with light diffuser this year. Two clutches and both perfect. I incubated at 88oF, open the tub every few days and had two small holes either end. held 99%+ humidity and there was no sign of mold. I will be using this method again next year.

Is there a certain amount of water you added or did you just soak it?
