Woman Finds 12 Foot Python In Home

    http://www.kplctv.com/story/25505923...mobilecgbypass

The picture from this article popped up on my Facebook feed, and I got all excited thinking it was someone asking for a catch and relocate job. Bummer! But still a cool news story. Is this a Burm or retic? I'm fairly new to id'ing the giants.

I don't have much experience with the Giants either but in the pic it looked like a burm. But the article said it was an African python so it could be an African Rock Python. Did you read the comments though there where a ton of people hating on snakes saying they would have killed the animal "monster" as some called it. Crazy

Yeah, I decided to go with NOT reading the comments, for that reason. And I don't trust news stations to correctly identify snakes like that. They've been calling all kind of snakes around here cottonmouths, when, most the time, they are harmless water snakes. But I am going to Google the rock python real quick. Lol!

African Rock. Kudos to the lady who found it for calling appropriate people for help. Thumbs down for the snake's keeper and all the idiot commenters who think all snakes should be killed on sight.

Like my brother said, "I'd have me a new pet."
