Did these snakes come from the same place? If not, you may have just exposed the presumed "healthy" one to an illness that the "unhealthy" one has, and will now be dealing with two vet bills. And by the sounds of it, they need to be seen by a vet. Just replacing the "unhealthy" one is not going to prevent any transmission of illness to the "healthy" one since they are already housed together - even if temporarily.
I guess advising a good quarantine practice is a mute point now.
You said heat source and water are taken care of. How are you measuring the temps and what are they right now? What sort of heat are you providing? Heat lamps, belly heat or a combo? What's your humidity reading for these guys?
In the future, before you impulse buy another snake, please make sure you have separate enclosures ready, and that the enclosure has been set up for about 48 hours so that you can make sure that the temps and humidity are perfect.
I know we seem blunt and to the point, but we are passionate about these little guys and only have their well-being at heart.
