    Your best bet food wise for breeding feeders, is a quality lab rodent block. Mazuri, Kent, Native Earth, there's all kinds of brands to choose from.

    As far as breeding, once you have a colony set up, you may have to wait 1-3 months before you get your first litter, but once it starts, and they get things figured out, they should keep going as long as you're feeding them quality food.
