    the genetics that cause the "high quality" look in a A+++ super pastel have nothing to do with the pastel allele.. and are most definitely polygenetic. In other words, it's hard to predict, but you tend to get better looking offspring from better stock. If the grandparents on both sides are a mix of A+ and C- animals, yeah there's a good likelihood your offspring will have some diversity if quality, though most likely you won't have too many that are surprisingly ugly or surprisingly beautiful.
