    What is the best substrate?

    I was just wondering what you think is the best substrate to use for ball pythons. Thanks.
    0.1 albino ball (Eleanor Rigby)
    1.0 het albino ball (Jeremy Hillary Boob)
    1.0 pastel phet ghost ball (Mick Jagger)
    0.1 norm ball (Mrs. Lovett)
    0.1.0 albino pacman frog (Keith Richards)
    0.1.0 albino pacman frog (Paul McCartney)
    0.2 kitties (Jerry Garcia & Layne Staley)
    0.1 mini schnauzer (Elliott Smith)
    0.1 rottweiler (Angel)

    Newspaper.

    The average NewBee will have to try EVERYTHING else before believing it is true... But time will show you that for overal cleaness, humidity, and cost nothing beats plain old newspaper (yes the kind that probably gets delivered to you daily)

    I use newspaper for some and aspen for others. Newspaper is a quick and easy clean up.

    Paper towels can work. They tend to shift the towels all over the place though, so you would probably find your bp just laying on the floor with no substrate.

    Nope, not anymore.

    You do only want to use the non "shiny" stuff though.
