    eating?

    my ball a little over a year old about 26" inches don't know sex just got fussy i've been feeding it small rats fine for like 3 months. now it'll strike once and not be interested if misses it iv'e been feeding in separate 10 gallon is that to small of a feeding aquarium? feeding once every 10 or 12 days.

    Have you tried offering a meal in the home enclosure? Could be he feels insecure after being moved into the feeding container.

    There are many people that feed in seperate containers but sometimes snakes change their preferences. I feed in the home enclosure to all my snakes without a problem. If you're open to the idea its worth a shot.

    ^^^ I agree, feed in the home enclosure. I have with all my snakes and have never had a problem, never had a mistake strike.
