    Started my Site

I figured I would get a jump start at the technical side of my python obsession! I started up a site that should be fully functional early '10, but I figured I'd show it to you guys to get some feedback on the overall layout while it's in the early stages

I am building my own photo-tent this coming weekend so I can start taking my own pictures for the site and get some content rolling!

    Thanks for looking!

    Re: Started my Site

And the assist goes to......Markus Jayne! Unless you got his permission, I would change those pics up. When you set up your page as a breeder (which is says at the top) you lose any credibility you may start off with by posting other people's animals. If you are breeding I would suggest posting pics of your own animals. If not (as your sig would suggest) maybe make it a bp info page or something and get permission for pics.
Not trying to be rude, but since you posted it here I assume you are looking for feedback.
Edit: After checking out your other posts I realize that you just got your first bp. Tough to be a breeder and supplier with only one snake I'm just sayin.....

    Re: Started my Site

There is a reason I said things wouldn't be rolling until '10... I am still learning a great deal about breeding and establishing a legitimate and credited breeding business. I do have one normal BP that will be posted in my collections page once I get my own photographs. I am also attending the Predators Reptile Show this weekend to try and pick up some possible breeders.

The media displayed on the site is only temporary until I can gather my own and I do believe as long as I am not using the material to induce an income, it is not against copyright laws. However, with this in mind I did send Markus Jayne an email a while back with no response.

I was careful to word my OP to state that I was interested in feedback on the overall layout so as to not take credit for the current content. I also stated I will add my own media content as I acquire it.

Anyways, hope that clears some of it up... and thanks for the input so far

Having them on your site without permission and without giving credit to them is illegal. Getting paid doesnt matter.

    Re: Started my Site

Whats funny is how some people are so harshly ragged on for stealing pictures, and get threads with pages and pages of flames.

This has sat here for ever a month with no flaming, no upsetness (that a word?). I guess its ok if its not your pictures kinda deal????
