peoples with experienced knowledge of morphs please view me

    hi guys

been meaning to post this thread for along time now but was worried i would fall into the "is this a morph when it is obviously a normal" category
but i am asking this question about one of my snakes, she is a female CH that came in a few years ago through a friends large sized import from africa, i picked her out with three others and have since sold them on as she was the weirdest looking, she was a real bad feeder for a long time and i had to force feed then assist her many times but now she is strike feeding anything i put in front of her which is great.

right now comes the question that has been on my mind along time, i have a picture of her in with a male normal i produced last year, she is not in shed this is how she always looks, and i think and i think that you guys will also agree that she looks very different to the male normal here and all normals i can find pictures of
she also has quite a crazy and aberrant pattern consistent with many YB pix i have found but this may just be coincidence of course

im just basically putting feelers out there for
    1) anyone with experience with subtle morph knowledge ie spectors, yellowbellies etc
    2) i was thinking some kind of axanthic because she really is dull and some of the axanthic pictures i have found look alot like her

here is the pic , please do post your opinions many thanks

Looks like a dull normal to me. That other one is very pretty though!

I find her pattern rather "typical" nothing weird about it to me. and I've never noticed anything different about yellow belly patterns, besides the bellies of corse. also every yellow belly I have seen has been a lighter colored snake

i can tell you its not axanthic, it means lacking yellow pigment and she has plenty of it. adults may brown out, but shes far too young to be already browning out.

if you don't want us to post opinions, then just close the thread. anything we tell you is going to be opinion, we can't tell a snakes DNA from a picture.

but my opinion that im telling you, that comes from my personal experience, there no reason to believe its anything but a dull normal, like the other opinions up there

I take it that you are referring to the stretched out one?

Back, belly and side pics would help. While I don't think it's Axanthic, I would be interested in seeing belly and side pics...just because it came from Africa!

The snake does look like just a normal. Normals can vary in coloration and pattern. Not all normals will look the same--they will always be different from each other. The snake looks not to be an Axanthic, since at this age it is far too browned out like stated in other post. This snake is just a normal, but with a very dull coloration, which makes it look very extraordinary.

Just a little bit of advice... Breed it out and see what it is. I posted on here not to long ago with an actual axanthic and everyone said it was a normal... I purchased it as a baby and know for a fact it is an axnthic but decided to post it on here and see what everyone thought and almost everyone said it is a normal. Not bashing anyone on here at all but it goes to show that froma pic it is almost impossible to tell one thing from another. I have a normal that if I posted pics most people would think it is a pastel just because how bright and vibrant it is as well as the fact that it does look like a pastel but again I know it is a normal.

Now for my opinion.... Well I already gave that just breed it out.

I agree with dull normal. She's very pretty. I also would be interested in seeing belly pics, not that I think she's anything in particular, I just like seeing imports bellys. There are some really odd bellies popping up.
