    Font help needed!!!

Well, I have Windows XP running CS2 and some fonts are appearing but not all.

I open up the fonts folder and they are all viewable. I highlighted them and made sure Read-Only was unchecked and then rebooted.

They are still not all viewable and usable in Photoshop and even in Word 2007 which they should be.

Does anyone have a clue what the problem is?

I even downloaded silkscreen font to test and added it to the fonts folder and rebooted and still same issue. Not viewable in the programs but is in the fonts folder.

    Ok.

    PC virus free.

I got my friend to send me a zip with all the basic windows fonts.

Deleted all the current 1500 plus fonts

Placed the basic font in the Font folder.

    Everything looks good.

Then I try to download a new font and it doesn't appear.

How are you putting it into the folder?
