    Anyone seen this before?

I just happen to see this case, posted by another hobbyist here in our country. Just wanna know if anyone there already had the same case like this poor snake here, and what's the reason behind this case? The originator of this pics claims that when he bought this bp 2 months ago, there's just slight foldings of skin within that area.

I have no idea what that is but it looks awful. Poor snake. I can't tell if that's his back or his side. Is that his spine or ribs? Is he eating? Has he been to a vet?

I have no idea what that is, but it makes me sick to my stomach to look at it. It kind of looks like he's been pinched in something, or could it possibly be a kink? Poor fellow.

    Re: Anyone seen this before?

that is wiiiierd! Do you know if the BP has movement in the latter part of his body after the 'kink'? if so, that would cause me to believe its not a break. It could be genetic, it could be a wierd twist. the only way you will know for sure would be to get it to a vet for x-rays and other radiographs.

    Re: Anyone seen this before?

It looks like a kin to me. It also appears to be slightly forward of his stomach. Therefore, if he eats, he probably starts digesting his meal before it passes the kinked area. If he eats fine, defacates fine, and can move the latter halfof his body, I would say give him a shot at life. He will only make a pet, but he looks like he has been eating to me, and can live a great life as a pet.
